Boudoir Photography FAQ

I know that taking off your clothes in front of a stranger (no less a camera) can be intimidating, so I have answers to some of your questions.

I wrote a post about this and you can check it out here! But just a few takeaways: lingerie, a bra & panty set, a silky robe or bed sheet, or any clothing special to you or your significant other.

I bring the furniture and camera, you bring the props! This photo session is all about who you are, so bring something to represent you. Do you come home and instantly turn on a record or start reading your cookbook? Bring something that represents what you love and makes you unique.

Every woman’s body is perfect in her own way! No lady, no matter how many times she works out, loves every inch of her body but I do know that there is something that you are super proud of, maybe even two or three things! Let’s focus on those and if you want, I will show you poses or use editing to hide the bits you aren’t too confident about yet.

Just remember that you are beautiful. You’re brave and adventurous just for even considering Boudoir photography, and guess what, those are the qualities that impress others and truly shine through in your photographs.

Ok….not in that way, but if you have an idea don’t be afraid to try it. If you know ahead of time, give me some heads up and I will try to plan it out; otherwise, let me know at the beginning of your session so we can make sure we have enough time to do it.

How far in advance do I need to come for my shoot?
I recommend 2 to 3 weeks, but if you need it sooner – please let me know and I will see what I can do.

I never post anything without your permission but the only way we can use your photos is if you sign a model release which is 100% optional.

All of your photos will be tasteful and classy sexy. TruReflections Photography is all about loving yourself and celebrating true beauty.

It’s just an event where a group of silly girls get together and model for the camera. It’s a perfect idea for a singles night or Bachelorette party for your girlfriend.
